Technium Performance Engineering prides itself on its unique public/private sector partnership.  The project is led by the Welsh Assembly Government's Department of Enterprise, Innovation & Networks and Swansea University and is supported by European Union Objective 1 funding.  A number of other partners are also involved, each bringing specific benefits to the Technium:-

IBM
IBM in partnership with Swansea University has established the UK’s first Centre of Excellence in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) including a dedicated PLM suite within the Technium Performance Engineering building.

Swansea Institute of Higher Education
Swansea Institute of Higher Education’s Faculty of Applied Design & Engineering includes a School of Automotive Engineering offering programmes designed to develop and enhance engineering skills to support the Welsh automotive industry.

Carmarthenshire County Council
Technium Performance Engineering is located within the county of Carmarthenshire and is fully supported by Carmarthenshire County Council.

British Automobile Racing Club
The British Automobile Racing Club’s Pembrey Circuit is located within easy reach of the Technium Performance Engineering facility.

Welsh Automotive Forum
The Welsh Automotive Forum focuses on stimulating the supply of component and major sub-assemblies so that Wales can continue to supply the burgeoning world auto industry expansion.  It also focuses on maintaining and accelerating Wales’ competitiveness in terms of price, quality, supply, systems and processes.

Aerospace Wales Forum
The Aerospace Wales Forum is the voice of the Welsh aerospace industry and aims to build on the existing aerospace industrial base, to create an internationally recognised region of aerospace excellence and innovation.
