Swansea University As a key partner, Swansea University has established a strong link with Technium Swansea. Swansea University has set up the Knowledge Exploitation Centre to co-ordinate and enhance the implementation of the University's 'Third Mission' (non-core teaching and research activities). The Knowledge Exploitation Centre acts as a strategic focal point of economic development in the region. It was established to provide, local, national and international companies with world-class scientific, technical and research resources within Welsh Higher Education institutions - www.ceticwales.com Knowledge Transfer Partnerships The DTI funded Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) is a key stimulator of industry-academia links. UNILINKS - Collaboration with the local business community to achieve and form sustainable partnerships with both private and public sector organisations and to assist the University in sharing its world-class knowledge with industry.
